The fireworks in Dora's honour were quite incredible. Here is a video taken from the roof.

Dora meets Granny and Grandpa Brook
Dora met Granny and Grandpa B for the first time yesterday. They are staying until after New Year. They brought lots of lovely presents from Paris and Vienna for Dora. They were very pleased to meet her. She has been alert and awake a lot of the time during the day and has started to stare at people.

Dora's first outing
Ashley came to the house to visit Dora and brought some tasty things for lunch. After lunch we bundled her up in her new sleeping bag and took her for her first walk in her pram. It was the first time Dora had been outside, apart from her brief visit to hospital after the delivery.

Day 8 - Connal meets Dora
Rese finished helping us today. It was our last day of 'kraamzorg'. We are on our own from now on.
Connal, Carleen and Pascal came over to meet Dora this evening. Connal looked very interested to meet her, but Dora didn't bother to wake up until after they left.
Once they had left she was wide awake. Here is a little video of her.

Day 7
Today is Dora's seventh day. Her birth was registered at the Stadsdeel Kantoor this afternoon. She has a Dutch and an international birth certificate. Next we need to get her a British birth certificate and passport.
Someone came to test her hearing today and take blood to test for some rare metabolic diseases. Her hearing was fine and she was very brave and didn't even squeak when her heel was pricked.
Roos, Anne, Hugo and Lancelot gave her a lovely Nintje (Miffy in the UK) play mat.
